Whitney Nguyen, CFA is the Director of Impact Research at NorthStar Asset Management, a socially responsible investment firm with a 35-year track record of using shareholder proposals to demand corporate accountability on critical social issues. Whitney leads NorthStar’s shareholder activism and corporate engagement program, working directly with portfolio companies across the firm’s six core focus areas: human rights, racial equity, gender equity, environmental justice, economic equality, and corporate governance. She holds a B.S.B.A from Northeastern University, where she studied Finance and Entrepreneurship, and is a CFA charterholder.
