Rewan has been campaigning on human rights and corporate accountability for over 15 years. Before she joined Ekō, Rewan was a campaign director at Avaaz where she oversaw its MENA department. At Ekō, Rewan focuses on Big Tech accountability, AI safety, and Palestine. Ekō utilizes a variety of tactics to run its campaigns including shareholder actions, research, strategic comms, and direct advocacy. Rewan is Iraqi-American, based between Amman and Salem, MA.
